Latin Symphytum officinale Cyperus rotundus Alpina officinarum Plantago majus Equisetum arvense  Potentilla reptens Cupressus semperviens Quercus spp. Ruta graveolens Vitex agnus-castus Boswellia sacra Eboris Rosa gallica Vinum rubrum Amount 1⁄2 dram 1 dram ea. 1 handful 4 scruples ea. 1⁄2 scruple ea. 1 pugil ea. 3 lbs.

Preparation:

Infuse 24 hours. Strain through Hippocrats sleeve, aromatising with 1⁄2 oz. Cinnamon and sugar to taste.

Function:

Astringes to stop Leakage, strengthen the Kidney

Use:

Incontinence

Dose:

3 oz., twice daily

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

This formula will not be adversely affected by the omission of Ivory. It could also be used as a powder, or made into a Tincture.
