Preparation:


Mix; digest 4 days, then strain.

Function:


Clears Phlegm, Stops Cough and Wheezing, cleanses Stomach and Bowels

Use:

3. Scrofula
4. Gout
5. Arthritis
6. Rheumatism
7. Sciatica
8. In
flammations
9. Urinary Obstructions
10. Strangury
11. Edema
12. Jaundice
13. Paralysis

Dose:


2 spoonfuls at night; 3 or 4 in the morning upon an empty stomach

Modifications:


Aniseed water here refers to the remainder after distilling Spirit of Aniseed. It therefore has a low alcohol content. A tincture may be made using 25% alcohol instead of Aniseed water.
