1⁄2 oz.

Preparation:


Steep in 4 lbs of hot water; after 24 hours, boil until half is consumed, then strain and clarify. With honey, penids, and sugar, 8 oz of each, make a syrup, and before it is boiled, add Red Rose Water 6 oz.

Function:


Clears Thick Phlegm, stops Cough

Use:


1. Cough
2. Bronchitis
3. obstructed Phlegm of the Lungs
4. Shortness of Breath
5. Pleurisy
6. may be useful in Tumors of the Mouth or throat


Dose:


1 oz., taken alone, or with Pectoral decoction
