120 grams


60 grams ea.

Preparation:


Grind teh herbs into powder, dissolved the gelatin in warm water, then mix to form pills.

Function:


Stabilizes the Kidneys, Calms the Fetus

Use:


Lower back pain, Vaginal bleeding during Pregnancy, weakness of the legs, frequent uirination, pale tongue with a white coating, deep and weak pulse.
1. Threatened Miscarriage
2. Habitual Miscarriage
3. Vaginal bleeding during pregnancy

Dose:


6 grams twice daily with warm water.

Cautions:


None noted

Modifications:


1. To strengthen the effect, add Eucommia Du Zhong (thos is often added today)
2. Marked Qi deficiency, add Ginseng
3. Discharge with blood, add Burnet (Di Yu)
4. Vaginal Bleeding during pregnancy, charred Mugwort (Ai Ye)
5. Poor appetite, add stir-fried Atractylodes Bai Zhu.
6. Feeling Cold, add Psoralea Bu Gu Zi
7. Feverish, add Rehmannia Sheng Di Huang.
