Botanical name:

A number of species are used in Tibetan Medicine:
- Shang dril smug po (Brown): P. calderiana
- Shang dril dkar po (White): P. reidii, P. atrodentata
- Shang dril ser po: (Yellow): P. sikkimensis
- Shang dril dmar po (Red): P. secundiflora, P. macrophylla
- Shang dril nag po (Black): P. macrophylla (Whole plant)
- Shang dril smug chung: P. calliantha (syn. P. bryophila)
- Shang dril smug chen: P. nussola

-Food Poisoning, acute Diarrhea, Dysentery
-Blood diseases
Dose:
Powder: 1–3 grams
Decoction: 2–6 grams (added at the end)
Substitute:
It is probably equivalent to the western Primrose, Primula veris
