Preparation:


Powder all the herbs except the Mastic, add the Ivory, Coral and Red Earth in fine powder, lastly add Mastic, then add the well powdered sugar and calcined shells.

Function:


Astringes the Uterus, Prevents Miscarriage

Use:


1. Threatened Miscarriage
2. History of Miscarriage

5 grams every morning

Modifications:


A related Unani formula adds Pearl, White Jasper, Rose, Catechu, burnt Deer horn, Pomegranate flower, and Silkworm Cocoon. It also used equal parts of Honey and a paste of Emblic Myrobalans; it uses Zedoary in place of Doronicum and omits Purslane seed, Tabasheer, Sandalwood and Cowry. It is called Electuary of Hafiz Ul Janeen.
