The Amdo Compendium said it treats Bad kan and Mkhris (Phlegm-Bile / Damp-heat) disease, Bad kan skya (White Phlegm), Bad kan smug po (Brown Phlegm), Bad kan ser po (Yellow Phlegm).
1. Acute and Chronic Indigestion
2. Indigestion due to Cold Phlegm with poor appetite, lack of digestive heat, vomiting, diarrhea
3. Belching
4. Heartburn, Reflux
5. Vomiting of Bile
6. Acute Gastroenteritis
7. Cholecystitis with pain and stagnation of bile
8. Gall Stones
9. Pain in the eye sockets from excess drinking
2–3 grams with warm water
