Preparation:


These are formed into pills. Mother of Pearl shell is calcined according to the proper method. All the powdered ingredients are then triturated with a little water to form a paste. From this, pills weighing 250mg each are made.

Function:


Settles Wind, benefits the Brain and Nerves

Use:


1. Specific for Paralysis
2. “Like Nectar for diseases of the White Channels [Nerves]”

Dose:


2 pills (500mg) morning and night with hot water. According to some sources 2 or 3 grams may be taken as a dose.

Cautions:


None noted

Modifications:


1. With Garuda 5 it is used for loss of memory, muteness, as well as stiffness, numbness and loss of sensitivity of the limbs, tremor of the fingers, etc.
