Nux Vomica must be prepared according to Traditional methods. Generally, it is soaked in water, then peeled, then cut into small pieces and stir-fried with Sesame oil. There are various other methods that may be used; See Nux Vomica.
Powder and form pills either with the juice of Madder, or with sufficient Honey to form pills of 500mg each.
Regulates Qi, Stops Wind, Moves Blood, Eases Pain
“Arthritis of the upper and lower extremities.”
“Serious disturbances of the Wind Rushing Up”
1. Hypertension
2. Chest or Thoracic pain or tightness;
3. pain in the Upper back from Wind
4. Severe stabbing pain in the head or upper body
5. Arthritis of the Upper Body
6. Difficulty Breathing, Shortness of Breath, Cardiac Asthma
7. Bouchut’s respiration
8. Dizziness
9. Vertigo
10. Tinnitus
11. Red eyes
12. Swelling of the gums
13. Nosebleed
14. Accumulation of ‘Bad Blood’ (Blood stagnation) in the Lower Body
15. Especially useful for Blood and Wind combined diseases
500mg–1500mg (begin with lower dose) morning and evening with warm water.
Three pills (1500mg) is the general recommended dose.
1. Not used during Pregnancy
2. Avoid overdose
