Galangal and Cyperus Pill

Small Collection of Fine Formulas (Liang Fang Ji Ye)
Soak the Galangal in wine and the Cyperus in Vinegar. Then bake until dry, powder, and form pills with Ginger juice.
It is also prepared as a Decoction.
Warms the Stomach, Clears Cold, Moves the Qi and Eases Pain
Stomach pain relieved by warmth, hypochondriac pain, white tongue coating.
1. Nausea, Vomiting, Indigestion
2. Chronic Gastritis
3. Abdominal pain
4. Gastroduodenal Ulcer
5. Diarrhea
6. Dysmenorrhea
6 grams twice daily with warm water.
Not for Heat conditions
1. More sever Cold, add Ginger (Gan Jiang)
2. Nausea, add Pinellia Ban Xia and take the pills with fresh Ginger root tea.
3. Stomach Cold with Qi stagnation and Damp, take with Xiang Sha Liu Jun Zi Tang
4. Cramping and Bloating, add Citrus Chen Pi and Costus Mu Xiang
5. More severe pain, add Corydalis Yan Hu Suo
6. Dysmenorrhea, add Dang Gui and Ligusticum Chuan Xiong
