Herb Name Chebulic Myrobalan Yellow Myrobalan Rhubarb Cassia pulp Aloes washed

Latin Terminalia chebula Terminalia chebula (yellow) Rheum palmatum Cassia fistula Aloe lota Amount 1⁄2 dram ea. 1 dram 3 drams 1 scruple

Preparation:

Infuse the first 3 medicines in 6 oz. of Maidenhair water; press, strain, then dissolve in the Cassia and Aloe.

Purges Phlegm and Bile

Use:

Used for Phlegm and Bile disease

Dose:

2–3 oz.
