Latin Cassia angustifolia Oreganum vulgare Mentha pulegium Borago officinalis Anchusa officinalis Viola odorata Rosa gallica Zingiber officinalis Cinnamonum zeylanicum Pimpinella anisum Amount 1 dram 1⁄2 dram ea. 2 drams ea. 1 scruple ea. 1⁄2 scruple

Preparation:

Infuse in 6 ounces of Borage water for 10 hours, express and sweeten; then add 1 dram of Black Myrobalan

Function:

Prepares, cleanses and purges Melancholy, opens Obstruction

Use:

Melancholy diseases

Dose:

the above can be divided into 2 or 4 doses
