-pain and stiffness of the muscles, tendons and joints
-Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Sciatica
-Lower Back and leg pain from Kidney weakness
-weakness of the Knees and Legs
-Fractures, Trauma, Bruising
-Jaundice
2. Moves Blood, Promotes Menstruation:
-promotes and regulates Menstruation
-Leukorrhea
3. Clears Heat, Resists Toxin:
-Carbuncles
-Acute Sore Throat
-Toothache
-Poisoning
-Snake Bite
Dose:
Decoction: 3–12 grams (up to 30–60 grams fresh)

1. Joint pain, Arthritis:
i. and Tendon pain, Flemingia with Dioscorea nipponica Chuan Shan Long, Achyranthes Niu Xi
ii. Flemingia with Centipeda E Bu Shi Cao, Golden Rod (Liu Zhi Huang), Vanieria Huang Jin Gui

iv. Rheumatism and Muscle pain, Flemingia decocted with Pig’s trotters in water and wine.

7. Leukorrhea from Damp-Heat with yellow foul-smelling discharge and abdominal pain, Flemingia with Andrographis Chuan Xin Lian, Rosehip (Jin Ying Zi), Dang Gui, Codonopsis Dang Shen, Spatholobus Ji Xue Teng. (as in Fu Ke Qian Jin Pian of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia)
8. Chronic Nephritis, decoct 1–2 ounces of the fresh root to be taken over the course of the day.
