-Cardiac insufficiency, Arrhythmias, Angina Pectoris
-pain from Trauma, Bruising
2. Regulate Qi, Relieves Pain:
-Pain of the Chest or Abdomen due to Qi Stagnation
3. Resolves Wind, Clears Cold:
-Cold-type Headache
-Body aches, pain due to Wind-Cold-Damp, Arthritis, Rheumatism
-Colds, Cough
-also for Nephritis
4. Resolves Toxin, Clears Swelling:
-Toxic Sores, Pruritus
-Malaria, Rubella
-Masses and Accumulations
-Burns and Scalds
-Snake Bite
5. Kills Worms:
-Worms and Parasites, especially Tapeworm
-mostly for abdominal pain due to parasites
Dose:
Decoction: 4–12 grams
Powder: 2–5 grams
It can also be soaked in wine for internal use.
Crushed and applied for topical use.

1. Amenorrhea with abdominal pain from Blood stasis, Euonymus Gui Jian Yu, Salvia Dan Shen, Motherwort (Yi Mu Cao), Red Peony root (Chi Shao Yao)
2. Irregular Menstruation, Euonymus Gui Jian Yu (15 grams) decoct in water and add Brown Sugar.
3. Metrorrhagia: Euonymus Gui Jian Yu, Dang Gui, Licorice (Gan Cao) (10 grams each). Decoct.
4. Postpartum abdominal pain, Euonymus Gui Jian Yu, Dang Gui, Corydalis Yan Hu Suo, Achyranthes Niu Xi
5. Postpartum hemorrhage, Euonymus Gui Jian Yu, Dang Gui, Motherwort, decocted in equal parts of Boy’s urine and wine.
6. Blood stasis in the Chest or abdomen, Si Wu Tang (formula) with Euonymus Gui Jian Yu, Corydalis Yan Hu Suo, Safflower (Hong Hua)
7. Abdominal mass, Euonymus Gui Jian Yu, Safflower (Hong Hua), Red Peaony (Chi Shao Yao)
8. Dry Cough, Euonymus Gui Jian Yu, Red Dates (Da Zao)
9. Colds, Euonymus Gui Jian Yu (stems and branches) (30 grams), decoct and drink. (Fujian Drug Chronicle)

12. Bruises: Euonymus Gui Jian Yu (50 grams), Red Peony (Chi Shao Yao) (25 grams), Safflower (Hong Hua) (15 grams), Peach Kernel (Tao Ren) (15 grams), Rhubarb (Da Huang) (5 grams), powder, take 5 grams as a dose, 3 times daily. (Northeast Medicinal Plants)
