Latin Iris germanica Rosa gallica Rheum palmatum Laccifer lacca Cinnamonum cassia Crocus sativus Amount 15 grams 10 grams 5 grams ea. 3 grams

Preparation:

Powder and mix with 150 grams Honey and 55 mls of Vinegar

Latin Rosa gallica Iris germanica Rheum palmatum Laccifer lacca Cinnamonum cassia Crocus sativus Commiphora molmol Amount 4 drams 7 drams 3/4 dram ea. ½ dram ea.

Preparation:

Beat the Saffron with Vinegar, then add the rest in powder and mix with Honey to form an Electuary.

Function:

Clears Liver heat, moves Qi and Blood

Use:

1. Specific for Hepatitis (modern)
2. Tumors of the Liver (Pharmacopoeia Persica)

Dose:

5–10 grams
