Preparation:


Decoct the Raisin and Licorice in 2 1⁄2 lbs. of water, then strain; next add the Myrobalans beaten into course powder, then strain; add 1 lb. Sugar and boil to the thickness of a Syrup. Towards the end, add the remaining herbs in fine powder, and form an Electuary.

Function:


nourishes Qi and Blood, moves Qi

Use:


1. strengthen all the principle Organs, Heart, Brain, Stomach, Liver, Spleen and organs of generation
2. promotes Health and Longevity
3. strengthens, but clears excess Humors
4. hinders Grey hair
5. strengthens Digestion
6. promotes a good complexion


Dose:


2 drams each morning
