Latin Symphytum officinale Cupressus semperviens Astragalus tragacanth Pistacia lentiscus Acacia arabica Terra Armenius Daemonorops draco Bambusae silicae Leporis capillus Mel  Amount 1 dram ea. 3 drams sufficient

Preparation:

Powder the herbs, Earth and Hares hair, and with clarified Honey, form an Electuary

Function:

Astringent, Healing, Strengthening

Use:

1. Hernias
2. Aneurism

Dose:

1 dram

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

The Hare’s hair is an unusual internal remedy. The remedy will stand without it, despite its relatively large dose. The ashes of Hares hair could be used instead, and in lesser dose.
