FOR COLD CATARRH.     Storax     Cypress nuts     Mastic     Frankincense     Labdanum     Amber.                           1 dram ea.     Licorice scraped     Raisins                           1 ½ drams ea. Form pills and hold in the mouth. (The Secrets of Alexis, 1615) CERATE FOR CATARRH     Clove     Cinnamon     Mastic                              1 ½ drams ea.     Cypress nuts     Red Coral     Pomegranate flower.     6 grains ea. Powder and with Rosin make a plaster to be applied to teh sutures of the skull and it will giove great relief.   This is only suitable for Cold and Damp causes.
