Latin Symphytum officinale Plantago majus Potentilla tormentilla Althea officinalis Glycyrrhiza glabra Capsella bursa-pastoris Prunella vulgaris Rosa gallica Hypericum perforatum Amount 1 1⁄2 oz. 2 drams 1⁄2 oz. 3 drams ea. 1 handful ea. 1⁄2 handful ea.

Preparation:

Prepare a standard Decoction

Function:

Clears Heat, stops Bleeding

Use:

1. Hemoptysis
2. any type of Bleeding associated with Heat 3. may be used as an adjunct for Lung Cancer

Dose:

2–4 oz.

Modifications:

This is a simplified version of the original, given because it is quite practical for modern use in this form. It is an expanded version of Mr. Boyles Syrup (Syrup of Plantain and Comfrey)
