Boil in 2 quarts of water for 20 minutes, then allow to sit another 10 minutes before straining.
clears Heat, nourishes Yin
1. Consumption, Hectic Fever
2. Female debility with chronic Leukorrhea, weakness of the Womb or excess Menstruation
3. Chronic Illness, diseases of old age
2 tablespoonfuls, 2 or 3 times daily. It may be taken in doses of half cupful for a short period.
Should not be used continually for more than 2 or 3 weeks.
1. This should be corrected with a little Licorice and Aniseed
Comfrey and Soloman’s Seal are both Yin tonics, the latter being a close relative of the Chinese Yin tonic Yu Zhu. They nourish and Moisten, soothe irritation, and increase the Yin of the body.
