Uses:


1. Clears Damp, Strengthens Qi, Benefits Immunity:
-increases Immunity
-chronic Viral Infections–Hepatitis, HPV, HIV etc
-chronic and active Hepatitis (Chinese Pharmacopoeia)
-also for Menieres disease

2. Clears Damp, Resolves Masses:
-Anti-Tumor, Anti-Cancer effects against a range of Human Cancers
-demonstrated effectiveness against Cancers of the Breast, Liver, Esophageal, Colon, Leukemia, Cervical
-increases efficacy of doxorubicin and etoposide

Dose:


Decoction: 9–30 grams
Powder: 2–6 grams daily of the Powder; 1–2 grams daily as a tonic to increase immunity; 6 grams daily for Cancer.

Comment:


It contains Anti-tumor, Anti-cancer and Immuno-stimulating Polysaccharides like various other fungii growing on wood such as Ganoderma, Phellinus, Fomes spp. etc.

Main Combinations:


Often combined with other mushrooms with similar properties such as Ganoderma, Phellinus, Poria etc. as an immune tonic and for its anti-tumor activity.
