** Source text lists ‘both types” (utriusque) of Cucumber. This is unlikely to refer to Wild Cucumber as the second variety which is more draining. It may refer to 2 types of cultivated Cucumber. In any case, a double weight of Cucumber seed can be used.

Preparation:


Dissolve Sugar in Musk Willow water, add the rest in Powder and form an Electuary. The text says to use Apple Water to attain suitable consistency.

1. Palpitations or Arrhythmia from Heat
2. Palpitations with Anxiety or Restlessness
3. Heart weakness associated with excess Heat
4. Insomnia
