Preparation:


Powder and form pills with a little Gum Arabic mucilage

Function:


Strengthens the Kidneys, Warms the Yang, Clears Damp

Use:


1. Frequent Urine
2. Urinary incontinence
3. Albuminuria or proteinuria
4. Chronic Kidney diseases, Polycystic Kidney disease
5. Infertility
6. Impotence, Erectile Dysfunction
7. Premature Ejaculation
8. Prostatitis
9. Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD)
10. Habitual Miscarriage
11. Diabetes (traditionally said to treat “all 20 types of Diabetes”)
12. Lumbago
13. General debility, Fatigue
14. Anemia
15. Heart debility, Palpitation, Tachycardia

Dose:


1–2 grams, 2–3 times daily, taken with Milk or Warm Water
Maximum daily dose is 6 grams

Cautions:


Caution in Pregnancy and don’t use in full doses.

Modifications:


1. Urinary diseases, Urinary Stones, or Prostatitis, take with Goksuradi Guggulu
2. Edema, take with Punarnavadi Guggulu
3. Diabetes, take with Emblic Myrobalan and Turmeric
4. Obesity, take with Triphala
5. Impotence, Erectile Dysfunction, take with Withania.
6. Prostatitis, Prostatic Hypertrophy, take with Crataeva.
7. Uterine Polyps or Fibroids, Polycystic Ovarian Disease, Endometriosis, take with Kancanara Guggulu
8. Infertility, take with Withania and Shatavari
9. Habitual Miscarriage, take with Withania
10. Arthritis, Rheumatism, Gout, take with Kaisor Guggulu
11. Heart debility, Palpitation, Tachycardia, take with Arjuna

Candraprabha Vati has a wide range of use related to Kidney deficiency, and Reproductive disorders in both male and female. It is used for these conditions with excess Kapha (Phlegm and Damp), accompanied by Cold and weak Kidneys.
