Gastric Cancer
Gastric Cancer is a Cancer forming in the lining of the Stomach. It is the 5th most common cancer in the developed world and is the most common Gastrointestinal Cancer.
Initially there is often no symptoms. As the tumor progresses, Indigestion, Stomach discomfort and pain, bloating,. heartburn and nausea may appear. Feeling full after eating a small amount of food is also common.
Causes
Chronic Helicobacter pylori infection has been associated with greater increase of Gastric Cancer and is believed to be a contributing reason why China accounts for 40% of world Gastric Cancer cases.
Treatment
When found early, surgery to remove the Tumor is usually performed, along with Chemo- and Radiotherapy.
In advanced Gastric Cancer, the combination of Chinese Herbal Medicine in combination with Oxaliplatin had a 35% increase in effectiveness (see here).

This formula was developed by an expert in Gastric Cancer treatment. In a study of 489 cases of Gastric Cancer followed up for 8 years, it was shown to reduce recurrence in stage II and III cancers by 32% compared to chemotherapy alone. It was also found to be synergistic with 5-Fu. (See Research here)
