‘Blood Heat’ can have different implications. Heat of the Blood may cause Red, inflammatory Skin conditions such as Eczema or Acne. In TCM, the concept of Blood Heat is where a pathogen has moved from the superficial level (exterior) of the body into the interior. This classically is seen in the progression of a febrile disease that penetrates deeper into the body.
