1 handful ea.
1⁄2 scruple

1 dram ea.


Preparation:


Cover with water to cover by 4 finger-breadths, then boil to 4 ounces.

Function:


Clears Heat and Damp, opens Obstructions, relieves Pain

Use:


1. promotes Digestion, settles pain of Gastritis and Peptic Ulcers;
2. promotes Urine; promotes Menstruation;

3. used for Fever

Dose:


a small cupful may be taken 2 or 3 times daily
